What is Card Magic 101?
Card Magic 101 is a comprehensive online course on sleight-of-hand with playing cards. I teach the most important techniques and routines in as much depth as possible, including all of the insights I've gained from over a decade of experience. It’s perfect for beginners who want to get started and valuable for advanced practitioners looking for a deeper and more nuanced understanding of practical, accessible, and strong card magic.
What do I get if I sign up?
You will immediately gain access to the core curriculum, which is a set of 25 video tutorials explaining the basics of sleight-of-hand with cards — and you’ll even learn your first 2 card tricks to do for your family and friends!
The course is updated on a monthly basis. Each month, you will get:
Syllabus detailing what will be covered that month
Video teaching the mechanics of a technique or trick
Video teaching the theory behind that technique or trick
Invite-only livestream where Daniel will answer your questions
In addition, you’ll be invited to a discord server where you can ask questions and interact with your cohort.
What is a cohort?
Card Magic 101 runs in cohorts of limited size. Each cohort begins with the core curriculum and then gains access to new material at an appropriate learning pace. This structure ensures that you aren’t overwhelmed with too much material and that you have enough time to practice each new technique or trick before moving forward. If a cohort is full, sign up to the mailing list to find out when new availability opens up.
Does Daniel offer personal instruction?
Yes! Daniel teaches private lessons to a select number of students of all levels (and anywhere in the world) over Zoom. He also offers lessons in-person for students living in the New York City area.
